Overtime Income Calculator
Overtime shows up a few hours at a time and disappears into the account. This calculator zooms out to the year: what your overtime adds up to, how much of your total income depends on it, and what survives federal, FICA and state tax.

Annual overtime income is the number lenders ask for
Mortgage and auto underwriters do not care what you earned last week. They want a defensible yearly figure, usually the average of the last 12 to 24 months of overtime with evidence that it continues. Producing that number yourself before you apply means you walk in with the same math the underwriter will do, plus the stubs to back it.
Use real weeks, not 52
Almost nobody works 52 weeks. Unpaid leave, seasonal shutdowns, slow quarters and holidays cut into overtime specifically, because overtime is the first hours an employer trims. Running the year at 48 or 50 weeks gives a figure you can actually plan against instead of a ceiling you hit once.
Give overtime income a job before it arrives
Because overtime is variable, the safest use is a named target rather than everyday spending. Set the goal, work out the hours in the overtime planning calculator, check the per-check reality in the overtime paycheck calculator, and compare the annual total against a salaried alternative with the pay comparison calculator.
